Datalogic Escort Memory Systems (EMS) Legacy Product Repairs
Wave Logic offers repair services for Datalogic's legacy product line of Escort Memory
Systems products that have been discontinued by the original manufacturer. Wave Logic
is the authorized repair center for many of these products and has been providing this
service through Datalogic since 2007. Wave Logic now offers this repair service direct to
the end customer.
What products does Wave Logic repair? Wave Logic repairs most of the
products in the HMS, LRP, and CM product lines and some HF/HS/HL products. However,
some of these products are potted and are not repairable. Refer to the REPAIR PRICE
LIST link below for a listing of products that Wave Logic currently offers repair services for.
If your product is not on the list, we probably do not repair it, however, feel free to ask us to
be certain.
How do I request repair service? To request repair service, click on the RMA
Request button below and complete the RMA (Return Material Authorization) request form.
After completing the form click the Submit button. Wave Logic will then reply to your email
address with an RMA number and ship to information. We will then send a separate
email with your evaluation fee invoice from Paypal's secure online payment website. You
will need to prepay the $90 repair evaluation fee. Wave Logic accepts payments from
PayPal and most major credit cards. After we receive your payment and the unit arrives to
us, we will evaluate the unit. Assuming the unit is repairable, we will request payment for
the repair fee and any return shipping charges that may apply; see Repair Price List link
below. If no problem is found with the product, we will notify you and if applicable, invoice
you for the return shipping charges.
What if my product is not repairable? If Wave Logic is not able to repair the
product we will notify you and you will have the option of having it returned to you or
discarded by us. In most cases we are able to repair the products listed on our price list
but occasionally there are exceptions due to physical damage or an obsolete component
that is unobtainable.
What are the shipping charges? Shipping charges vary greatly depending on the
product(s), the destination, and the shipping method. Wave Logic does not pay the
shipping cost to or from our customers. Return shipping charges can be added to the
repair fee or billed to the customer's carrier account. UPS is our primary shipping
service, but we can also ship DHL or FedEx using the customer's carrier account.
NOTE: for international shipments all customs fees, duties, VAT as applicable are paid

Warranty Wave Logic provides a 90-day warranty on all repairs.
